Alera Group, Inc. has agreed to pay $2 million to settle claims related to a cyberattack in August 2024 that may have compromised individuals' private information. Impacted individuals can claim up to $3,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses or opt for an alternative cash payment of approximately $50. All class members qualify for 2 years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete financial data monitoring.
Eligibility
You may be a Settlement Class Member if you reside in the United States and received a notice indicating your Private Information may have been impacted in the August 2024 Alera Group cyberattack.
You are a living individual residing in the United States
You were sent notice indicating that your Private Information may have been impacted in the cyberattack on Alera Group, Inc.'s computer system that occurred in August 2024.
Excludes directors and officers of Defendant, governmental entities, the assigned Judge and court staff, and anyone found guilty of initiating or aiding the Data Security Incident.
