AOD Federal Credit Union has agreed to pay $750,000 to settle allegations related to a data breach from August 2024 that may have exposed Social Security numbers, bank account details and other personal information. In addition to qualifying for two years of free credit monitoring services, eligible class members can claim up to $5000 in documented losses or an alternative cash payment of approximately $75 without any required documentation.
The court will hold a final approval hearing on September 16, 2026. Payments go out after the court approves the settlement and any appeals are resolved.
