A $14 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against Independent Living Systems (ILS) following a data breach in June and July 2022. The breach potentially exposed the sensitive information of approximately 3.9 to 4.2 million individuals. The settlement provides compensation for documented losses and a pro rata cash payment to affected individuals whose personal and health information was compromised.
Eligibility
You may be a Settlement Class Member if your sensitive information was potentially exposed in the Independent Living Systems (ILS) data breach that occurred between June and July 2022.
Residents of California at the time of the breach are entitled to receive two shares of the pro rata distribution, while other class members will receive one share.
