Team Group has agreed to pay $1.1 million to settle allegations that the company deceptively advertised and labeled the speeds of its DDR-3, DDR-4, and DDR-5 DRAM computer memory products. Plaintiffs claim consumers were misled into believing the advertised speeds were "out of the box" speeds requiring no additional configuration, whereas achieving these speeds actually requires enabling Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) or AMD EXPO profiles in the system BIOS/UEFI. If you purchased eligible Team Group DRAM products between May 3, 2020, and April 8, 2026, you may be entitled to a cash payment.
